Each level has different total points, and you must reach a minimum score to pass: 

• HSK 1–2: 200 total → 120 to pass 

• HSK 3–4: 300 total → 180 to pass 

• HSK 5–6: 300 total → no official passline 

• HSK 7–9 is a single exam. All candidates take the same test and receive a score that determines if you qualify for level 7, 8, or 9.
